Where do I start. I love this place. This time my wife wanted to try it. She had some brisket at another place. I got the usual a turkey sandwhich, half link and side of beans. It was really good. My wife got the pulled pork, baked potato and coleslaw. She like the pulled pork and potato. She did not like the coleslaw for some reason. I think she likes a sweeter style of coleslaw. The staff was great and patient when she was making her choice. We like the open atmosphere and bench table seating. We can not wait to come back.

We came here for lunch while staying in Arizona. The store is spacious and has many benches, so it's super casual. There are various menus, and if you're alone, you can order quarter size of BBQ. My husband and I ordered half lb of beef brisket and baby back ribs, cream corn and pecan pie. When you order, the staff will cut the BBQ and put it in the case. Pickles and bread are self-service table area. The table has the store's original BBQ sauce and spicy sauce, so you can try it freely. We liked beef brisket but baby back ribs were a little dry. It's a place where anyone can easily come because you can casually stop by and choose your favorite BBQ.

Once again, great service! 1/2 lb ribs didn't look like enough, so 1 lb did the job! Honestly, my only complaints were, I wish the ribs were thicker this time! I do not like that they only have light lemonade which, is gross though...I am not sure how I forgot about that! I love the bar full of condiments with pickles, lemons and peppers. It makes it easy to pick, what you need to enhance your meal. I like their potatoe salad and Peach cobbler! Although, I didn't have it this time, they have good banana pudding as well. Of course, whenever I have a craving for ribs, I'd pick this establishment each time! Shout out to Laura the cashier! She was very nice, personable and into my daily funtivities planned! There's plenty of free parking onsite! Easy in and easy out! If you're not into sitting inside, they offer curbside pickup as well!

Here are some fun facts about Rudy's BBQ - Rudy's began life as Rudolph Aue's gas station, garage, and grocery store in Leon Springs, Texas near San Antonio in 1889. Barbecue was added to the mix in 1989 and the name evolved into Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q. The recipes haven't changed much in 28 years, reps say. Rudy's now boasts 40 locations across five states including Colorado, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona. We finally meet up with fellow Yelper, JC and his wife. Rudy's is a regular stopping point for them, and we hadn't been so that's where we met. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed and we had a two-stepping good time. There were troughs filled with soda, water and beer that could be enjoyed while waiting in line. I decided on a diet root beer as I haven't had soda in ages and well why not!!! I had the loaded potato for $6.99 without meat and added onions and BBQ sauce (not the Sissy sauce) on top. It was delicious, filling and hit the spot. It was also reasonably priced and got out of there for under $25. Will I return, absolutely.
